One doesn't know the players without a scorecard, and here they are, in order of appearance. Their names are links to anecdotes of their interactions with me.
LOREN BILLINGS: One of the founders of Gallery 1134
ROBERT W. BILLINGS, AKA The BOBSTER:The Devil Incarnate, unfortunately Loren's husband, the 2nd founder of Gallery 1134. :
AL ORNELAS:The 3rd founder of Gallery 1134, and unfortunately the 3rd corner in this love triangle.
COSMO CAMPOLI: His Spumoni Village may have been the catalyst for Loren to change the direction of her Gallery.
TUNG JEONG (TJ): Not exactly a founder, but his contributions helped get them off the ground.
VICTOR HEREDIA: Was there at the beginning, helped clear out the remains of the former casket factory and built most of the infrastructure and equipment, but never got to make the art he wanted to do on account of the machinations of Johnny H.
KEVIN HUOTARI: Was also there at the beginning with Victor, but suffered a nervous breakdown from Bob's badgering.
TOM CVETKOVICH: Was also there at the beginning,helping with the premiere exhibition of holograms, but became Public Enemy #2 when he partnered up with LaserSmith
JOHN HOFFMANN:Loren's #1 son, who eventually led the Russians to her to bil her out of the building.
MELISSA CRENSHAW: Fell in love with her over the sand tables in Holo I, which was the 2nd biggest mistake of my life.
JAMES E. MacSHANE:The man with the cartoon voice, with a heart of gold, but shit for brains.
STEVE (LASER)SMITH: He became Public Enemy #1 when he became the competition.
LARRY AND PEGGY LIEBERMAN: Urged by TJ to join the staff, they left within 6 months.
The CETA WORKERS: Free laborers courtesy of a scam Bob cooked up.
The BOARD OF ADVISORS: Well-meaning Ph.D.s seduced by Loren so she could use their names on her masthead but who fell by the way side, one by one.
The ALUMNI ASSOCIATION: Who loved Loren dearly, like a mother, but were disowned when she found out that they had visited the LaserSmith's lab on a field trip.
JOHN GENERAL: One of the last full time holographers there, oblivious to all the scandal.
GnXperts:The Russian con artists who swindled Loren out of her building.
HAYDEN CONNOR: A businessman who bought the building to "flip" it, and let me excavate it.
MOSHE TAMSSOT: What can I say but read on.
JON SEYMOUR: A loser who was going to use the holograms he bought from Hayden to set up his own Museum of Light & Design, but lost most everything.
BRIAN ARMSTRONG: Wrote a chapter about this place in a book on lost museums. (In Press)
