Progress in True Color Holography Preamble.
This paper presents TJ’s “Heuristic Definition of “True Color”. This is not a definition carved in stone, as heuristic means proceeding to a solution by trial and error or by rules that are only loosely defined. Please feel free to debate as much as you like.
Other interesting aspects of this paper are the choice of laser wavelengths, the discovery of the surprising capability of Agfa 8E75HD to record two beam reflection holograms at green and blue wavelengths, and the first in print application of Western processing schemes applied to Eastern bloc holography plates, namely Bulgarian Academy of Sciences HP-490 developed in CWC2 and bleached in CWPBQ2 rahter than its FHG colloidal developer.
Photographs of the holograms will be posted eventually, but the first RGB exposures of a diffusely reflecting object on DuPont Photopolymers were a product of this paper.
